Signature Real Estate manages all types of residential properties and HOAs. Our residential properties include single-family homes, duplexes, apartments and condominiums. (For HOA management info, please see our HOA website tab.)

Where are Signature Real Estate's rental properties located?

We manage properties primarily in the Triad area of North Carolina including Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Randolph, Davidson and Davie. Occasionally, we may also manage properties in other counties. We also have beach vacation properties for rent under Signature Coastal, LLC.

Where is your office?

Our office address is 154 Charlois Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

What are the Office Hours?

Monday through Friday. 10 AM to 5:00 PM. 

How do I get information on your rentals?

Under “Renting” on our website, click on “SRE Rentals.” We update daily as properties become available. Don’t see quite what you are looking for? It’s good to get connected with one of our agents so they can also update you if something becomes available that fits your budget and requirements.

How do I arrange to see one of your properties?

Showings are by appointment with one of our agents. Email rental@signaturespm.com for an appointment to see a property

Do you have “Section 8” properties?

We do. Contact an Agent to see what we have available.

How do I apply to rent a property?

Get started by completing our online application. The button can be found at the top of our website. In addition, we will need a copy of your driver’s license/photo ID and your social security card. We also require a $35.00 non-refundable application fee. Our process includes obtaining a credit report and a criminal background check. We also verify income and previous rental references. Your application can be delayed if it is not complete. Please provide ALL info requested. You can help speed the process by telling your employer and landlord(s) know we will be contacting them.

Who do you rent to?

Signature Real Estate complies with Federal Fair Housing Law.

I’m worried about my credit. What can I do?

While having a good credit report is important, it is not always the only thing we evaluate. Your income and positive rental references are very important and can often offset less than perfect credit.

Can you hold a rental property for me?

We do not “hold” properties. A property is not considered rented until your application is approved, a Residential Rental Agreement has been signed and a Security Deposit is paid.

Do you have properties for rent month-to-month?

Our standard lease is for one year. Under some circumstances, an owner may consider a shorter term. Discuss this need with your Signature agent. Typically, a higher rent is required for leases under one year.

Do you have furnished homes for rent?

Our company generally manages non-furnished properties.

What if I find a rental and I think the property needs some work before I rent it?

Please know that we manage properties owned by other individuals. It is our goal to make sure the properties are clean and ready to rent. Owners may not be willing to accommodate all requests. Also, if the property is new, it may still be undergoing work when you see it. Or if you are viewing an older home, you need to understand that an owner may not be willing to remodel or update for a renter. Please bring any items of concern to the attention of your agent before you sign a lease. Also, you will be asked to complete a “move-in inspection form” after you sign the lease.

What is a Security Deposit?

The Security Deposit is equal to one month’s rent unless otherwise noted.

Do you allow pets?

In some cases, owners do allow pets. That information is usually provided on the rental listing. Other fees and deposits are required. Discuss the need for a home for your pet with your Signature agent upfront.
